I have a campaign with 5 characters. Last night, I discovered that 3 of them now have negative stat modifiers, e.g. a Tiefling Rogue with a STR of 5 (modifier -3). One of them has two negative stats.
I am quite sure that I would have noticed this during character generation - we are now at 4th level.
The weird thing is that when I go into character builder, I see die rolls that seem to support these low numbers (e.g. rolls of 3, 2, 1, 1 for a total stat of 6).
And again, there is no way I would have missed FOUR negative stats among 5 characters.
Has anyone else ever encountered this?
Is there any way of recovering or looking up what these stats must have been at the beginning? Since we didn't expect this to happen, we don't have PDF backups.
If there is no other solution, I'll manually edit every negative stat to a 10, but I figured I'd ask here first.
Unfortunately I'm not a mod, so I can't look very deeply into the problem.
The sheet & the dice group screenshot you sent me look "correct" for their current values.
A few notes: the Paladin's choice of weapons and using their ASI to increase Dexterity indicate that they've been working with a low Strength score all along, leaning into ranged and finesse weapons to do effective damage. They are carrying more weight than their carrying capacity but have Encumbrance toggled off. They also picked Paladin skill proficiencies that complement their high Wisdom stat.

I'd rather not post it publicly, but I'll send you a message with a link.
FYI, even if you do post it publicly, nobody can interact with it in anything but a Read Only capacity, and we couldn’t see the last three pages/tabs of it (Description, Notes, & Extras), so nothing personal to the character would be shared. All anyone would get to do is look over the PC’s Stats, Actions, Spells, Inventory, and Features & Traits, and we couldn’t change anything.

That's very weird. Can you post a link to your character sheet so someone can take a look?

Thanks for trying!

Good to know, thanks.
But I already decided to manually update the sheets and turn the negatives into zeroes.
Thanks!
