I've been making tons of playable characters within the past few months. I have currently lot of characters that I just love and adore, but it's getting clustered with other PCs so it's harder to find them. Some of them might even be lost within the large lists that I have.
I get that this might not be something everyone could agree upon, but I'd like it if there's something form of "folder" sorting. As an example, "currently playing" folder, "spare characters", "evil characters", "multi-class character", ex.t. I believe it would make this site even more accessible and easier to use.
There is no folder system, Okahey is probably using some browser extension.
You can create campaigns and use the campaign join link to add your characters to it. There is no limit to the number of campaigns you can have or the number of characters a campaign can have. You can give the campaign a name and description.
You can view the My Campaigns page to see the overview of the campaigns, like a list of folders, then view the campaign to see the characters organised there.
Closest we have at the moment.

I am not talking about pcs in campaigns, what I meant was your own created pcs.
I know.
The method I posted still allows you to use the campaigns like a makeshift Folders system for easier organisation.

Yup. If you stick all of your PCs (or at least the important ones) into your own dummy campaigns you can sort them that way. It’s not great, but it works. Like, for example I have a campaign named “villains” where I put my NPC villains. (I need to make one for nonvillainous NPCs.) I have one as a vault for storing UA characters in case the get Archived, etc.
Yes, sorry, must have been. Have turned off "beyond help" and folders are gone (and I can see all my characters again after the update).
Apologies for my mistake. I agree - folders are a must. As DMs it is crazy having to try and find things. The campaigns trick is a good work around, but hopefully they can figure out a way to do folders soon.
Oooh! Now I get it what you mean. But still, it's not really efficient. Would like it to be a more efficient and cleaner folder/sorting system for my characters instead of just creating campaigns after campaigns just to sort my pcs.

Oh sure, but in the meantime this is the best we got.
Just wanted to bump this conversation since it looks like there hasn’t been much progress made on the development of a sorting system. One of the above comments noted a browser extension that might make folders possible. Does anyone happen to know what extension that would be? Thanks for your help!
5 campaigns, each with 12 participants, max total 99 assigned characters.
So 1 person could enable sharing for 55 other people spanning 495 characters. And since you can activate and deactivate characters and even campaigns, enabling and disable the sharing as needed, with a slight inconvenience who can basically content share with an unlimited number of players for unlimited campaigns.

There is a folder system already in place. Top right "create a folder".
Is there? If there is I can't find it. I can only see "create a character"

Bumping this convo again. Seriously would love a folder system for created characters.
I was looking for something along this line also. I have read the above comments and started creating various "NEW" Campaigns, but a small snag.
Look like you can note share more than six campaigns without removing one.
My son and I share various content and I will figure this limit out.
Have there been any updates or thoughts to adding a folder system to the Campaign system?

Thanks for the reply.
I kinda figured I would have to use the activate/deactivate option on the campaigns.
