Hello, so I've just designed a homebrew subclass that I'd like to try to publish to the community. When I hit the button, it says "your private homebrew in your homebrew collection is automatically shared with users in your campaigns." Does this mean that if I publish my subclass when it isn't in my collection, it wouldn't still show up in my campaigns? I'd like for it to show up in the public homebrew listings without it showing up as an option to take for the others in my campaigns. Is there a way I can do that? Thanks!
So everyone has a Homebrew Collection and Homebrew Creations section.
Anything you create is automatically added to both.
Anything in your Homebrew Collection is automatically shared with everyone in the same campaign as you, regardless of whether it has been publicly shared or not.
Your Homebrew Collection will also determine what homebrew you may add to your own characters.
If you have a subscription on here you can add publicly shared homebrew to your Homebrew Collections.
You can go to the homebrew's details page and click "Remove From Collection", which will do precisely that. If you are the creator you will still have a copy in your Homebrew Creations but if you want to use it for your own character you would need to add it back into your Homebrew Collection. Removing from Homebrew Collections will also prevent it from being shared in any campaigns you are in, but if you shared the homebrew publicly and a member of your campaign has a sub they can find it in the public listings and add it.
