I have all the books and a new player joins my campaign. he made a Aarakocra and picked sorcerer but only option for line is draconic? something wrong here?
Well someone needs to have had to master subscription for the rest of the players to be benefiting from your books.
The campaign page should state if content sharing has been enabled and by whom.
Did this new player built the character INSIDE the campaign? Or trying to build a character and thinking to add it to the campaign (via the campaign link) later?
The only way to enable others to view content that you have unlocked is via a campaign having "content sharing" enabled (via a Master Subscription).
If nobody has done that, then the books aren't being shared. It's possible that the other players just picked races/classes from the SRD/Basic Rules, or they owned.

Hi there Northersin,
do you (or someone else in your campaign) have a Master Subscription and have enabled content sharing for the campaign?
