Hi this is my first time posting. I have been having trouble accessing the Eberron Content that my DM has shared with our campaign. I have already allowed the Eberron content as a source, but none of it appears. The other players in the campaign are able to access it. What should I do?
Try syncing your entitlements: click on your user name in the upper right corner of this page (or, if on mobile, the button with four lines, then the little circle of your avatar in the upper right of that slide-out), then Account, then the Marketplace tab. In the Account Entitlements section, check and see if it says you need to sync: if so, click the sync button. (The sync button won't be there if you are in sync.)
If that doesn't, as the DM (or whoever turned on content sharing) to turn off sharing and turn it back on again.
If none of that helps, please post a link to your character and give some examples of Eberron content you are trying to access. I likely won't be able to sort it out, as I am not. a moderator, but a moderator can take a deeper look, and having the link posted before they drop by the thread speeds things up a bit.
By the way, thank you for detailing what you already tried. That is very helpful!
One standard question I forgot to ask: is your character already in the campaign, or are you trying to build it outside of the campaign and then join? The character must be in the campaign to access shared content.
Thanks! My character is in the campaign (https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Chuckcem/characters/32355289). I also tried creating a new character in the campaign, but that did not work. I'm trying to access the Eberron: Rising From The Last War content that has been shared such as the races/sub races, items, and monsters.
Thank you for posting a link and answering my question about being in the campaign. As I said above, I can't poke around to sort it out, but hopefully a moderator will be by shortly to offer some wisdom!
my dm just added the multiverse of monsters ook and i downloaded the source and i got that it was shared with me and i cant acess the reaces that are attached we've refreshed all of my stuff but still all thebasic races any sugestions?

do you mean you cant read about the races or that you cant create characters using those races? Only characters within the campaign from which the book is being shared have access to shared content.

There's a recent issue where, if you haven't finished your character yet and you skipped picking a Race and selected a Class before a new source was shared with you, the new Races aren't available. You could either pick an available Race and finish making the character, then go to the character sheet, then go back to change your Race; or else start over with a new character if you haven't gotten very far.
...Of course this assumes that the character is being created within the campaign. You won't have access to any shared content if the character isn't in the campaign.
My teammate in my party shared a bunch of books to me. I can access the book and creature's perfectly fine. But when I go to character creation to use a new race like the goblin race for example from monsters of the multiverse, it won't let me access it. I don't know if this is a bug or not but if someone can help that would be great

Is your character in the campaign where the sharing has been turned on? Access to shared content in the builder is limited to characters in the campaign in which content is shared.
I believe so. All I remember is he shared stuff with me, I can access the books but I can't access the characters or classes
Go to collections>my characters, and look at the character “card” for the character in question. If it is part of a campaign, there will be a black band just above the white “view Edit copy Delete” row. In that black band will be the name of the campaign. If you don’t see a black band or a campaign name, the character is. It is not in the campaign and that is why you can’t access things in the builder.
if you are in the campaign, ask whoever turned content sharing to turn it off and turn it back on. If that still doesn’t do it, ask the DM what books are available in the campaign. Only books owned by someone in the campaign are shared.

That content technically isn’t being shared “with you,” it’s being shared “within that campaign,” and is only accessible on characters specifically within that campaign. Follow ArwensDaughter’s advice and it should sort you out.
Hi, had the same issue with our campaign. We figured it, it might be because the character is set to Private instead of Public/Campaign only. It helped, so maybe it can help you guys too.
Unfortunately I am having this problem as well. I just bought the Mordekai Monster book to provide my players with the kobold race, but they cannot access it. The create a character from within the campaign and we tried all the tips from above. The character is on public, we turned off and on the sharing; nothin worked. Would be awesome to get some help, since the book would be wasted money otherwise.
