I keep getting this message while building my Scenes. Seems to fix when i delete off some of the token monsters I added to the map, but then it comes back. Any ideas?
full message is:
YOU REACHED THE MAXIMUM MESSAGE SIZE. PROBABLY SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR SCENE. You may have some tokens with embedded images that takes up too much space. Please delete them and refresh the scene.
If its a specific token, Im not sure to figure out which one is the problem.
Ok may have just figured it out. ALL of my tokens from the multiple scenes i created were ALL in the combat tracker. Remove them all and the error stopped
Its probably AboveVTT that uses the Encounter builder in DnD Beyond for combat mechanics I run into this when I have a party size of over 11 fighting over 20 mobs. I had to delete every other mob and just say the one icon represented a group of two of three mobs. OH Also when the party had mounts and I tried to add them to combat tracker I had to delete all the mounts as they all got put in inititive order and crashed the system... I guess there are some things a physical table top is better at handling. The Error I got was similare though I think it has something to do with the combat tracker.
YOU REACHED THE MAXIMUM MESSAGE SIZE. You may have too many walls - try to be less detailed on curves, use x's instead of circling pillars, etc. You may have some tokens with embedded images (urls that start with 'data:') that take up too much space. Please reduce the number of walls/delete the tokens with 'data:' urls and refresh the scene.

DDB doesn’t do “scenes,” so your problem must be with either your VTT, or the browser extension you use to link that VTT together with DDB.
