The Life Cleric in my campaign has been really confused with Channel Divinity and its uses. I took a look at his character sheet and understand his frustration completely.
In the Actions, under the Action tab the various options he has for Channel Divinity listed, but no option to mark it used:
However at the bottom of the All tab, or on the Other/Limited Use tab there is a very generic listing for Channel Divinity (without the specific options detailed) that has a checkbox to mark if it has been used:
Is there a reason we do not have a checkbox to mark Channel Divinity used on both Turn Undead and Preserve Life? Not having this checkbox requires more user clicks and navigation when it could easily be marked in every place a Channel Divinity ability is listed to decrease confusion.
It may have something to do with the fact that Channel Divinity is shared between multiple features such as Turn Undead, Destroy Undead and Domain Specific options which can vary in what action they require. Some Divine Divinity options are an action, others bonus, some are hour long rituals and some require no actions at all. Since they are all shared by the same "number of uses" it is beyond the remit of the builder to link them all together.
The tabs like Action, Bonus, etc will detail what you can do for these, but if you want to check off things that are limited in their use, especially if they can have a various of actions/etc then check Limited Use.

Thanks for the super awesome integrated DnDbeyond universe (and character builder). Its just awesome! I just built a Twilight Cleric, and I'm loving it so far :D Is this built yet and if so, where do I find the option to add my Twilight Sanctuary temp hit points heals to my ACTION TAB in the character builder? So far i have added a custom spell, that looks like an attack... just to remin myself its there... but thats a sub optimal solution to this great character builder!

A fix to this is in the works. No ETA at this moment.
Awesome to hear, thanks!

Four years later, do we have an ETA on this yet?
They never give out ETAs.
