i am attempting to add spells to a paladin subclass, but i want the players to be able to choose from a selection of spells at different levels (i.e, choose 1 necrotic spells of 1st level at 3rd, 1 spell of 2nd level at 5, 1 necrotic spell of 3rd level at 9, etc.)
however, when i pick the subclass in the builder even though im only level three, it allows me to pick all the spells for level 3, 5, 9, 13, and 17. Within the add spells menu, i added the spells i wanted to be available, set the score to be used (charisma), selected yes for consumed spell slot, no for counts as spell known, and yes to always prepared, and specified the levels at which each spell selection is available. i have triple checked that last part. All other fields are empty
i hve done thos before, but usually not with then player able to grab multiple options, anyone know whynthe options are showing up too early?
In the add spell page click the level in the "available at character level" box.
