In the campaign im currently playing in I am an Abberant Mind Sorceror. I have the Psionic Spells class feature which reads as follows:
Psionic Spells
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Psionic Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a divination or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.
Sorcerer Level
Spells
1st
arms of Hadar, dissonant whispers, mind sliver
3rd
calm emotions, detect thoughts
5th
hunger of Hadar, sending
7th
Evard’s black tentacles, summon aberration (a spell in chapter 3)
9th
Rary’s telepathic bond, telekinesis
I want to use the ability to replace these spells on level up to replace arms of Hadar with Silvery Barbs (because arms of Hadar is trash). However I do not see the option to do this anywhere and it will not even let me remove the arms of Hadar. Can anyone help me with fixing this issue so I can play my character they way I want to, as I should be able to according to the rules as written?
