This blessing is functionally identical to a cloak of protection. Using the homebrew tools (In the mega menu, hover over 'Collections,' and on the right there's a bunch of blue buttons - select 'create magic item'), create a magic item. You should be able to use an existing item as a template. Choose the cloak of protection. Rename it however you wish, presumably Blessing of Protection. Uncheck the box that states that it requires attunement, and update the description to indicate it's a blessing and not a cloak. Save it, but don't publish it. It should be available for any of your characters, or other people in a campaign with you if content sharing has been turned on.
I couldn't get that to work (made sure it still gave the right bonuses, wasn't attunement, turned on homebrew for my character, and then had no changes after equipping it and making sure it was marked as active), so I wound up just going in to customize my AC and saves, giving them each a +1 bonus manually and citing the source as Blessing of Protection.
You did something wrong. When I make the copy as pocketmouse suggested it works absolutely perfect. Can you provide a link to the character?

I'm new to D&D Beyond and tried to create the new version of Cloak of Protection but i can't get the 1D4 to roll each time I click a saving throw/attack roll. The best I can do is roll a 1d4 separately and then manually add it. Can I get a little help with it?
Thanks Erin. It doesn't work for me still. I have the dice rolls set up as well as the duration and when I put the item into my equipment nothing translates to my rolls.
Did you remove attunement? If not, did you attune to the item? Try seeing if a regular cloak of protection works, to make sure something else isn't going on.
The blessing of Protection gives you an additional +1 to your AC and saving throws, similar to a Cloak of Protection. I'm not sure why you'd be getting the bonus 1d4 to your rolls. Are you perhaps thinkingof the "Bless" spell?
You can use a feat to add it. Or just manually customise the AC and saving throws.
The 1d4 thing somebody mentioned has nothing to do with Blessing of Protection at all.

Any way to add this to a character?
Help?
Not as such, but you can homebrew an item or a feat that will have the same effect.

Shayone | Hobgoblin | Sorcerer | Netherdeep
How do you do that?

I changed the item type to a potion and then the instructions given by pocketmouse worked perfectly.

last post here was from 2021, is this still the best method in Beyond?
