I saw a similar post but the question was different. We have a player in our campaign that is level 7 (6 bard/1 Sorc). On the D&D beyond sheet, it gave him spells slots for levels 1-3, 4 1s, 3 2s, and 3 3s but no 4th level slot. According to the multiclass spell caster table here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/customization-options#Spellcasting
He should be considered a level 7 Multiclass spell caster right and have access to the 4th level spell slot?
Yeah, they should have the 4th-level slot when multiclassing in 2 full-caster classes. Is the campaign using XP leveling? If their character sheet doesn't have enough XP to be level 7, then they won't have the features for being that level; they can use Manage XP from the Classes section of the Character Builder to correct it if that's the case.

Just to double check, when you say 'access to the 4th level spell slot' you do just mean the spell slot appearing on the character sheet, and not 'access to 4th level spells,' correct?
Correct, the option to use a 4th level slot doesn't show up on the sheet. It only gives the 1st, 2nd, 3rd slots in the quantities of 4,3,3 respectively. There should also be 1 4th level slot
I also tried increasing Bard levels, when Bard goes to 7 the 4th level slot shows up. So it seems it's only using one class for calculating the slots instead of the multiclass spell slot table. Is there an option I am missing?
Ya I also encounter this issue. I hope the developer will fix this as soon as possible since this disturb the spell tracking, one of important thing in DnDBeyond.
Can we tag the dev team for this? It's almost 7 month.

Wizard 4 Cleric 2 - This character should only have 7 1st level spell slot and 3 2nd level spell slot, but instead have 4 1st level spell slot, 3 2nd level spell slot and 3 3rd level spell slot.
Ranger 4 Druid 2 - This character should only have 7 1st level spell slot and 2 2nd level spell slot, but instead have 4 1st level spell slot, 3 2nd level spell slot and 2 3rd level spell slot.
Wizard 4 Cleric 2 - This character should only have 7 1st level spell slot and 3 2nd level spell slot, but instead have 4 1st level spell slot, 3 2nd level spell slot and 3 3rd level spell slot.
The number of spell slots here is correct. Per the multiclassing rules, you total all your wizard levels (4) and all your cleric levels (2) giving a 6th level spellcaster. You then look this level up on the multiclass spellslot table and it says you get 4 first level spell slots, 3 second level spell slots, and 3 third level spell slots. This is what your character has

This character is actually ranger 4, druid 3. Following the multiclass spellslot rules, you take half your ranger levels rounded down (2) and add them to all your druid levels (3) giving a 5th level spellcaster. Looking up the 5th level row on the table, it says you should have 4 first level spell slots, 3 second level spell slots, and 2 third level spell slots. Again this is what the linked character has.

I have a 5 Paladin 2 Warlock. As far as I read the rules you ignore the Warlock levels for the Multiclass spell caster table. So I should be a level 2 spellcaster on the table meaning I should have 3 Paladin 1st level slots and 2 Warlock 1st level slots. However the character sheet seems to be bumping me up to a 3rd level spellcaster on the table.

As for as I can tell I would also learn misty step and hold person at 5th level but can't actually cast them due to lack of second level slots.

I'm not seeing any 3rd level spell slots on the character sheet, and I am seeing 2nd level spell slots. You have misty step and hold person. Everything looks right to me. Possibly the character sheet refreshed?

I don't mean 3rd level spell slots. 3rd Level Spellcaster on the Multiclass table.

Warlocks don't have the spellcasting feature, they have pact magic instead. This means when you multiclass any spellcasting class with warlock, they don't count as having multiclassed for spellcasting. As such, you character still counts as a fifth level paladin for determining all spellcasting abilities.

We are using milestone leveling, and the character is set to level 7 in the character builder

Made a new character here with level 6 Bard, 1 Sorc to show the missing spell slot
