I have uploaded my maps to the maps feature. I do have the top sub. I sent the link to my players but none can see them, they get the subscription splash screen.
Do they need a subscription!? Seem stupid as my players are all newbies and why would they pay for something whey may not use again if they don't come back ?
I followed all the instructions, added then to the campaign, sent the link, started the session.. nothing works

I always play with bagpipes and they can cause serious psychic damage.
Create Campaign. Send campaign link so players can join it.
Open Maps and select that Campaign.
Set up your maps and from the bottom right you can get the Maps share link. Send them that link.
Start the session on Maps.
Players will be able to join and see the maps.

Yeah done all of that. They still get a splash screen of sub.
Then you're missing a step, or they are.
All my tests, following the steps I put, work completely perfectly. It would not be different for me than it would be for you, so I can only surmise you or they are missing a step and not realising it.

How long after starting the map session do they try to view it? Right away? A few hours later? My understanding is the map sessions timeout after a certain period of time.

Right away
I logged out then logged in. After 2 days I asked my players to try again and suddenly they can access the maps.
Totally frustrating but we got there!!
