I was creating a Divine Soul sorcerer and realized that there's no option to add the expanded cleric spell list printed in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
I assume that the Divine Magic feature that gives access to the cleric spell list should open up the possibility of adding the spells or is the intent that it's only an option for clerics?
The expanded spell list is a feature of the cleric class, not the cleric spell list. If your character is not a cleric, they can't use the expanded spell list feature, which means they don't get the spells added to the cleric spell list.
Because Divine Magic draws from the cleric spell list without being a cleric, there is no way to add the expanded spells; this is functioning rules as written.
What confuses me about that is that the new cleric spells from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything -do- show up in my spell list. So I've got Summon Celestial and Spirit Shroud, even though they are also added to the Cleric spell list through the Additional Cleric Spells feature.
Would that also mean that Bards can't use their Magical Secrets feature to take any of the new spells from (edit) other classes in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, since they technically are added to the classes as features and are not present on their actual spell lists?
Sorry to disturb, but does multiclassing into Cleric do anything? I mean, the expanded Cleric spell list in Tasha's is said to be a level 1 Optional Class feature. Does multiclassing into 1 level of Cleric get the spells added to the Cleric Spell list of the Divine Soul Sorcerer?

Unfortunately no. You'll have access to the optional spells via the Cleric class, but they still aren't added to the Cleric spell list for your sorcerer to pick.

I am having a hard time understanding the reasoning for this - both for rules as intended AND RAW.
Tasha's simply says: The spells in the following list expand the cleric spell list in the Player’s Handbook. It then goes on to list those spells.
The Divine Soul Sorcerer says: When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn or replace a sorcerer cantrip or a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the cleric spell list or the sorcerer spell list.
Those spells in Tasha's are in the cleric spell list. Divine Souls can choose from the cleric spell list. Perhaps there is a problem with implementing because of the way everything is programed, but it seems to me like these spells should be available to choose from RAW.
You are correct. It is a problem within the way its implemented on DndBeyonds, not the rules. It is a known issue. This is one of the things that is suppose to be fixed when they release the big system update. In the meantime, you can create homebrew copies of the spells and enable sorcerers to have them.
Nevermind, I misinterpreted the question. Ignore me.

The expanded cleric spell list is a cleric class feature, and an optional one at that. You only get those spells on your cleric list if you're a cleric and take that optional class feature. From the introduction to optional cleric features:
This section offers additional features that you can gain as a cleric. Unlike the features in the Player’s Handbook, you don’t gain the features here automatically
The first of these optional features available to clerics is Additional Cleric Spells.
If you are not a class that can choose the Additional Cleric Spells optional class feature, you can't expand your cleric spell list.
I have a multiclass Divine Soul / Life Cleric. Even if I take 3 Cleric levels, DDB doesn't let me take Aura of Vitality as a sorcerer spell. I can't agree that this is the intended behavior.
Divine Soul gives access to the Cleric's (base) spell list. It does not give access to your cleric's spell list, nor does it give access to expanded cleric spell lists. So no matter your multiclass, Divine Soul is still expanding the spell list with the same spells - those being the base cleric spell list.
Aura of Vitality is on the paladin base spell list and only available to Cleric (and Druids) through optional class options and as such is not added to your sorcerer spell list through the Divine Magic feature.
In order to use "sorcerer spell slots" to cast Aura of Vitality, you would need to have that option enabled, get to level 5 cleric and have Aura of Vitality prepared through your cleric spell list.

The new spells are stated as being both cleric spells and additional cleric spells, it's confusing I know.
As for Magical Secrets, yeah, the same is true I believe for that feature.

Lol imagine being this much of a rules lawyer. No DM worth their salt is going to care that much.
