I noticed just now when creating a new character that with half-elf, when assigning the two separate +1's, it gave me the option to assign one to the already +2 Charisma. When I loaded up one of the half-elf variants, it's not possible. I'm pretty sure before the revamp that you could not add either +1 to the already +2 Charisma stat.

Level one character, 18 charisma, sounds good!
