I noticed an issue with the timing listed for Dirlagraun’s child, Star, going missing.
In Carnival Locations (Continued) > Lost Property > Missing Child, the text reads: “If the characters return with Viro, Dirlagraun is grateful and reveals that, many years ago, its own cub vanished from the carnival without a trace.” However, in Appendix D: Roleplaying Cards, the entry for Dirlagraun states “Dirlagraun’s own offspring, a kitten named Star, went missing a few weeks ago.”
”Many years” and “a few weeks” is a pretty big difference. Which one is correct?
Hard question to answer. If it was written it the book that way then DndBeyond has to keep it as written, preventing the clarification. Additionally no-one who works for DndBeyond currently works for Wizards of the Coast. They are two separate entities.
That being said, it may not be in error. Time in the fey wild is weird and is specifically called out in the book as being so. You are probably right though, and we may not get a definitive answer.
