When I go to create a campaign there is no option for premade/pregenerated/purchased. I have tested this on a paid account, a free account and a test account. Is there a bug?
i could have sworn a button was also on the “create a campaign" page when I tried it out a while back, but it is not now. Note that the only premade options are the three free adventures, and there’s not a lot to the “premade" besides a pretty picture and some basic notes.
Thank you for the info @arwensdaughter that was exactly what I needed to know. And I see what you mean by there is not much to the premades. May you always find shade and water
Premade campaigns on D&D Beyond just have the campaign name and description filled in with some helpful starter info. Only three premade campaigns exist.
If you're not playing one of those three campaigns, you can simply create your own and give it whatever name and description you like.
Buying an adventure book on D&D Beyond includes everything you'd get if you were to buy the physical book. Additionally, it's integrated with the sites other tools: any magic items in the adventure can be added to character sheets, for example.
