Hey, so I have been DMing D&D 5E for around a year or so now, I have the PHB, MM & the DMG in the physical hardback edition. I want to use DnD beyond for a new game I am starting, however, all the content from the PHB, MM & DMG i have to purchase again like huh??? is there a way to input i dunno the barcode from my hardback edition into DnD beyond and get access to the digital content?? I am a student and really can't afford to purchase the books again, especially as it's just digital content.

Thanks for this Libertine, I understand now. Kinda annoying but fully justifiable, I prefer a physical copy compared digital content so I will have to figure a way out to deal with the base version of D&D beyond.
You can homebrew spells, feats, subclasses, races, and magic items as you have time. You can also purchase things piecemeal as you have need and budget.

In short, no, it is not possible to redeem a digital purchase with the hardcover one.
