I have been trying to add a stat block into a homebrew magic item (wonderous item). I have uploaded the image to a few different platforms online (ie Imgur) and then copied the link into the 'Insert/Edit Image' and it only comes up as a blank square regardless of resizing, constraints, or no constraints.
Ensure you are getting the url that ends with the filetype - most host sites give you a shorturl not a proper one. Easiest way is right-click image, click view in browser or open in new tab and then in the new tab/window get the url.
