I know that they seem to want to push everyone in to the 2024 rules, but you cant take away content that is paid for...
In the equipment list when u search of weapons only the 2024 weapon come up... and a lot of the 2024 weapons have extra new tags on them that is was not there in the 2014 rules...
This item might be part of the "free core 2014" but they are part of the Player's Handbook 2014 (paid item)
the new one is "better" yes but if we are playing with 2014 rules and dont want to use 2024 rules this is an item that is not part of what we play with... so I should be able to access and quickly see the old one in the equipment tab in game rules.... but the old one is removed... If I put source "core 2014 and players handbook 2014" dagger dont exist at all...
This is content that people have PAID for and they should not have to go to sources to find it... it should be searchable like it used to. and even worse.... When i go to add this 2014 item to my character and click the 2014 rules for item.... only the 2024 comes up under dagger the other item dont exist at all for me to select...
This need fixing right away!! You can't take away things people paid for, when its a different item from what the new items are... this is not acceptable!
Bring back the old items that are missing now and just mark them with Legacy like you do for spells and other old things.
The two daggers are identical except for the Nick weapon mastery. Since a character needs a rule that allows them to use weapon masteries, that means it’s functionally identical for any 2014 character. If you add it, it will work exactly as you’d expect.
