Your issue is a cache problem. Try clearing your cache and loading the character sheet again. Your browser is downloading the old sheet because it remembers that's the link you used previously.
When I press export on my character it only shows a blank character sheet
If you are using iOS, this is a known issue with the default PDF reader not providing functionality for form-filled PDFs - you'll need to install a fully-featured PDF reader, like the Adobe one. I've seen it mentioned that the latest iOS updates resolve this, so that may also be an option.
I've been trying export my characters to printable character sheets but each attempt results in a page that says, "Page Not Found".
Please post a link to your character so that we can take a look.
