Per the title, I've created a homebrew item that is intended to have charges of a series of homebrew spells, only when I go to add spells to the item, they do not appear on the list of the available additions.
To be clear, these are homebrew spells that I added from the big community library to my campaign, not ones I created myself. Still thought it was weird though.
You can only add spells that are part of the free basic rules / elemental evil player's companion, that you own, or have created.
You cannot add other people's homebrew to your items.

There are 2 kinds of content you can use in your characters, buy not your homebrew: 1) official content that is shared to you, but not owned by you. 2) homebrew that is not your creation.
