Not sure what you mean by additions, but I'll try to explain.
Content-wise, you'll get the same as the hardcover book, not a word more nor less. The purchase of the PHB grants you the digital version of the book (Compendium) and the access to the content on the toolset (character options in the builder, listings and so on).
To put it another way, the Basic Rules and the SRD (System REference document), which are free both here and as PDFs from Wizards of the Coast, include a limited selection of sub-races and sub classes. (The basic rules even limit the races and classes available). The PHB includes all of the race, sub races, and classes from the Basic Rules and the SRD, plus more options. To see that list, you should be able to go to the marketplace, find the entry for the Player’s Handbook, and click on the “View Purchase Options” Look for the Subclasses and Subraces listings to see what you can purchase piecemeal: that gives you the list of what is “added” with the Player’s Handbook, in terms of those categories.
The PHB also includes feats and backgrounds not in the SRD/Basic Rules. If you buy the entire PHB here, you a lso get the compendium, that is access to a digital version of the entire text of the PHB, with hyperlinks, tool tips, and related features that increase its usefulness.
I was wondering what additions i get if i purchase phb on this site. What subclasses and etc.
