I've rolled up a level 10 warforged monk for the Eberron camping we've been running, and I was asked how Beyond calculated my AC.
Beyond says that my guy's AC is, 10 + my Dex bonus (4) + "unarmored bonus (integrated protection)" (5), for a total of 19.
However, a monk's Unarmored Defense says that AC should be 10 + Dex (4) + Wis (2) for a total of 16. If I go with the warforged Darkwood Core for integrated protection (unarmored so as to get access to monk class features), it would be 11 + Dex (4) for a total of 15.
It appears that Beyond is adding in light armour proficiency (even though my character doesn't have such a feature) or something similar.
Or, if there's a rule we're not aware of that allows him to have AC 19, I'd be happy with that, but I'd like to know the reasoning :)
Addendum to this report: Another warforged character that I rolled up (this one an Eldritch Knight) has a similar issue with AC calculation. She has an AC of 22, based on having Heavy Plating active (16 + proficiency bonus of 4) +2 for having a shield.
This is the correct value, but clicking on the AC icon on her character sheet shows a very odd description of how AC has been calculated (showing as 10 + 10 "unarmoured bonus (integrated protection)" + 2 for the shield).
Is it possible that the Wayfinder's data is in flux, or otherwise not being well-integrated with Beyond?
Thanks for the suggestion, Stormknight; I tried changing my Eldritch Knight's integrated protection from Heavy Plate to Composite Plating, and it seems to get to the right AC (21), but instead of doing 13 + Dex (2) + Proficiency (4) + shield (2).... It's going with 10 + Dex (2) + Unarmoured Bonus (7!) + shield (2).

Something's broken.
Nothing is broken. This is just how the bonuses are calculated. 10 is base AC, rather than replacing this number, DDB simply modifies it. The unarmored bonus of +7 is the total bonus given by the feature (3+proficiency mod). Medium armor dex is handled separately from the other bonuses because it is used so often (for every medium armor).
As to why darkwood core always adds proficiency, this is because the devs haven't caught up with code needed to match the book, but also won't make a simple workaround that makes the feature work, but doesn't match the book.

For the Eldritch Knight, fair point; not broken, but not being calculated in line with any of the printed rules. It should be displayed properly IMHO.
But my real issue is the fact that my warforged monk's AC calculations are, indeed, broken. Neither the warforged darkwood core nor the monk's unarmoured defence methods match what Beyond has calculated for the character's AC.

Thanks!
I recommend changing the setting for your integrated protection.
Currently the tools aren't able to set a prerequisite (light armor proficiency) for working.

You can homebrew a copy of warforged with the correct AC.
Fair enough, and I will do that (thanks!), but the point of posting it in this forum was so that the devs can be made aware of the issue.
Yup, already aware, but thank you anyway - I am certain they would rather things are reported multiple times than not at all! :)

:D Pleased to be of service!
If there is a fix forthcoming, I'd be happy to test.
