Hi, I did some searching on this topic but could not find any recent information within the forums. I am wondering if the monsters included in the Monster Manual are ALL of the monsters included in the physical version. I ask because the additional purchase options lists only 110 monsters, whereas the physical has over 400.
The short answer is "yes." The longer answer is that the printed MM has not only the 110 monsters that you are purchasing, but also the other 290ish monsters that are also listed in the Basic Rules.

Ah okay, I understand then. Beyond already has the Basic Rules monsters for free so there is no reason to include them in the Monster Manual purchase as well. Thank you!!
It's worth noting that the Monster Manual on D&D Beyond does include all of the monsters that are in the physical version of the book, including all the lore sections and artwork and you can read through the Monster Manual as a compendium.
As mentioned above though, many of the monsters from the Monster Manual were also released for free as part of the SRD and/or Basic Rules, so they are also presented here on D&D Beyond for free.
Thank you for the clarification. I figured the digital book would basically be a 1:1 adaptation of the physical book when viewing through the Compendium. I was mostly just confused about whether all the monster information cards would be in the Monster section or not. Thanks for the help! In case you look at this again, where should I go to ask a question concerning an issue/bug with a specific public Homebrew?
