Some bugs in both character sheets and Eberron related material:
(1) I tried to create a homebrew feat that combines Tough and Durable as one feat but is racially restricted to races with a Con bonus, such as Dwarf, Goliath, Orc, Hobgoblin, and Warforged. Unfortunately, the Warforged were missing from the select list as an option for a prerequisite to the feat.
(2) (a) The Mending cantrip that is a feature of the Mark of Making Human variant does not appear as a spell known on the character sheet.
(2) (b) Similarly, I made a homebrew Wizard subclass named the School of Artifice for my Eberron campaign (it's 2.5 years old on paper but my group wants to migrate to D&D Beyond). Mending is a free cantrip at level 2. No matter what I do, the Mending cantrip does not show up in the spells known section of the character sheet.
(2) (c) The character in question is both a Mark of Making human AND has my homebrew Eberron School of Artifice Wizard subclass. So, one of those Mending cantrips should be a spell known and the other should allow for choosing a different cantrip.
1) That's correct - warforged haven't been added to the list of available races to choose as prerequisites (yet). This may happens soon, or may need to wait until a future iteration of WGtE. I'll seek clarification on that.
2) (a) It works totally ok on both my test case characters. Please can you link your character sheet, so I can take a look?
2) (b) If you would like to link the subclass here, I can take a look at that too.
Hi, this is the character in question. She is a Mark of Making Human. Under Magecraft, she gets a tool and the Mending cantrip. But I look under the Spells known and its not automatically tagged. I'd have to learn it using one of my cantrips known.
I probably missed something that I am supposed to do here. Not sure why it wouldn't have the cantrip come up. Or in the case of the above character, offer an alternative cantrip.
The Mending cantrip isn't added to your spells known as a Wizard, because it's a racial ability and not something gained via the Wizard class.
It's present directly on your character sheet and can be seen under spells.
I had a look at your subclass and on the main page for the subclass you have activated the options for adding spellcasting to a non-spellcasting class, which .... does odd things. I suggest switching these off.
So, in addition to the Mending chosen twice issue for my Wizard School of Artifice subclass above, I have discovered a new issue:
For a Warforged Juggernaut Fighter... the Defense Fighting Style does not seem to be adding to the character's AC. The integrated protection is being considered an unarmored AC calculation. So the WF is not considered ti be wearing armor and thus the fighting style doesn't apply. Is this intentional or a bug?
Bumping this thread to address the remaining issue...
A cantrip granted as part of a racial does not get processed as if the player has the cantrip on their spell list. In my homebrew campaign, my player has the School of Artifice homebrew subclass I created which grants the Mending cantrip at level 2. The House Cannith racial trait also grants the Mending cantrip at level 1. Racial traits should register as spells if the trait grants a spell. That way, the player can select a different cantrip when the same cantrip pops up for the subclass. Mending is appearing on the character sheet twice and the player is not allowed to select a different cantrip instead.
Magecraft from Dragonmark of Making from WGtE is supposed to be able to be replaced at the end of a long rest, but short of editing the character, I don't see a way to do that.
Mark of Making (Human sub-race): The Spellsmith feature, doesn't have any tracking boxes in the character sheet. It has one use per long rest, but the tracking box doesn't show in the features list.

Hi there Shadowthrone,
I'm taking a look at these.

EDIT: To be clear, the Mending cantrip shows up under Infusions.
The School of Artifice subclass is listed here:

This is how it should be configured:

That makes sense. Thx.
Oh I see it now. Thx.
I turned off the recommended setting but it did not seem to solve the problem. Any ideas?

It's a very good question and one that I've seen several people direct at Jeremy Crawford on twitter.
The current view on Warforged Integrated Protection ability is to just follow the rules.
The feature states that Warforged can't wear armor.
The Defense fighting style grants +1AC whilst wearing armor.
The warforged isn't wearing armor (though they gain AC from their ability) so the defense fighting style doesn't add AC.
If the next iteration of the WGtE clarifies that it does count as armor, then we'll change it. :)

Does it need one, since it’s at the end of a long rest? It’s basically like when you choose spells.
