so revenant blade doesn’t work, when equipped by a 4th level elven fighter (valenar variant) with 16 Dex and 12 Str, the attack and damage calculation doesn’t treat the double scimitar as a Finesse weapon. Also there is no place noted that your AC is 1 higher whilst wielding it.
Aha, got it - the way that the double-bladed scimitar is implemented is as two weapons - one is the standard weapon and the other is correct if you have the revenant feat.
That is super confusing, as both the weapon and the feat state that they grant a +1 bonus to AC. With both the weapon and the feat, I would expect a total of +2 to AC, but that doesn't happen. It seems like all the feat does is upgrade the damage from the bonus action attack to 2d4.
Are there plans to fix the issue with the Double-Bladed Scimitar being able to add the features of the Revenant Blade Feat? Unless the feat itself is supposed to be tied to the Revenant Double-Bladed Scimitar only. The Double-Bladed Scimitar is a non-magical melee weapon and the Revenant Double-Bladed Scimitar is a magical melee weapon. The feat only requires a double-bladed weapon so this seems like something the architects can just copy and paste the code used to make all the features work for the magical Revenant Double-Bladed Scimitar to the non-magical Double-Bladed Scimitar to gain the feats benefits.

Hi there DireWolfreich,
I've just recreated your test with my own Elven fighter and it all works fine for me.
Remember that the FEAT is granting the +1 AC, not the weapon, so this is shown under feats (it is also shown if you click on the AC box).
The attack and damage is correctly utilising DEX as the stat for attack and damage, and also notes that this is a finesse weapon.
If you're not seeing these, please can you provide a link to your character and I'll take a look to see if there's a problem.

Aaaaah, you have to force the feat to use Dex. I missed that option in the feat., the shot of the feat was super helpful thank you.
Ok I have done that, but the calculation is not happening, I have tried unequiping the weapon and reloading the sheet.
thanks for the help https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/DireWolfreich/characters/4155824
Seeing "Dexterity" on my screenshot just means that when I selected the feat, I chose +1 Dexterity option, rather than +1 Strength. :)
I'll take a look at the character for you.

I have gone ahead and added Revenant Double-Bladed Scimitar to your character so you can see.

That’s a terrible way to implement it, but ok thanks.
Will be sure to let my player know
