Hello, I'm working on creating a varient, and am unable to edit the racial traits. While in the edit screen, i click on the button to look at the racial traits, but nothing happens. Drop down menus do not appear, and I'm unable to do anything beyond edit the description.

Have you saved it? Most option aren't available until it is saved.

It gives me the option to save changes after i edit it, but other than that i don't see a save function. After i hit save changes, the screen refreshes, but nothings changed.

Create Race >> Create Variant >> Select Race & choose template or start from scratch

You should be on the starting page for creating the variant.

Enter a name for your variant.

Enter a description for your variant.

Select the parent race in the Race Group if this is a variant of an official race (cannot do this for homebrew race, as you cannot make a race group).

Check the "Is Variant?" checkbox.

Click the big orange Create button.

The screen will refresh and you'll see the same as before except now the big orange button is Save Changes and below it is a "Racial Traits" area. In this new area, click the big blue Add a Racial Trait button to be taken to a menu where you can add racial traits.

And you should be on your way. If you're still having problems please guide us through what you're clicking, preferably with screen shots. The system seems to be working fine when I test it so I imagine you might not be clicking something or not noticing something. Or maybe you have a browser/device issue. But we'll get to this if needs be. For now please try the steps above.
