So while I am able to designate a weapon as a Hex Weapon now, it only seems to affect the TH bonus and not the damage? Also it's not including the proficiency bonus in the TH modifier despite the character being proficient with the weapon?
What weapon are you trying to make your Hex Weapon? When you click on it to view its details does it say "proficient: yes" near the top of the info block?
Works for me. level 1 hex blade warlock with str 8 (-1), dex 10 (0), cha 17 (3) with proficiency of 2
with longsword, before making it a hex weapon it has +1 to hit (prof + str, which is -1 in this case), and damage of 1d8-1 after making it hex weapon it has a +5 to hit (prof + cha) and damage of 1d8+3
Just to check also, with a rapier (as its finesse), has +2 to hit (prof + dex which is 0, and damage of 1d8 after making the rapier a hex weapon it also has +5 to hit, and damage of 1d8+3
It's a longsword on a Hexblade. Weapon text says he is proficient, and the hex weapon box is checked. Weapon then displays as TH (+3) Damage (1d8+1). That's got the stat bonus TH, but not proficiency, and no bonus to damage. Meanwhile the not hex daggers on the same sheet show as +5th (+3 from dex +2 from proficiency).

Please post a link to your character. Actually, it might help if you posted 2 links: both the Share link and the straight url. With the share link, any of us can take a look. With the straight url, only moderators will be able to look, and they will be able to check on more things. (If you'd rather not make your character available for all of us to see, that's o.k., just post the actual url for the moderators)
with the longsword set as hex weapon, then 1d8+1 implies that your charisma has a +1 modifier (either a 12 or 13). this would be consistent with a proficiency of 2 giving a TH of +3 (prof+cha)

what are you character stats?

posting the URL would be best.
Hmmm, may have figured it out. Sort of a stat issue sort of not. Thanks for the help folks! I'll definitely post a link if the problem persists.
