So I was making my own spin on the Jackalwere monster for a Homebrew campaign, and as such, I used the Jackalwere as a base when making a monster in the homebrew section, yet after editing it - I ran into an issue.
This is the original description for the Jackalwere Scimitar attack:
Scimitar (Human or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack:+4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.
This is how I changed it:
Shortsword (Human or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack:+4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
^ I have cross checked 5 times and ONLY the "Scimitar" is replaced with Shortsword and the Slashing with Piercing. Upper and lower case letters are the right ones and there is no errors in the symbols used to make the dice roll show up propperly.
And when I have edited like this; my version does not display the Red Box over the weapon attack to just have it roll; nor does it have the dice roll function for the +4 hit roll or 1d6+2 damage roll.
In the image bellow you can see my Homebrew variant on the left and the Jackalwere one on the right (Opened in separate browsers so sorry if looks a bit messy) As you can see; I already changed the Bite to a Punch attack and that had no issues, yet the Shortsword attack just does not want to work, does anyone know what may have gone wrong here?
FIXED: I apparently had to turn off Beyond20, THEN edit the weapon attack details and then turn Beyond 20 on again... Admins can decide if I should delete this or leave it up for future reference should others get this issue.
It did not seem like it? (I could not see that I spotted any ability to click on something to make a roll happen with Beyond20 turned off), nor did turning it off and on again do anything. BUT...
I turned it off, edited the weapon attack details, turned it back on again - And now it just works?
So I suppose that is problem solved... Not sure if I should just delete this thread or leave it up just in case someone else runs into a similar issue?

It looks like you are using a third party extension for dice rolling. If you turn that extension off, does the built in DDB dice rolling work?

I think leaving it up makes sense. I may have been a serving caching issue with the homebrew, or something else. Glad it's working for you now.
