I am the DM in a campaign, one of my players has a master sub with almost all content unlocked. He has content sharing enabled for the campaign. The spell is usable for players who are able to cast it. But I can not add the spell to a homebrew magical item in one of the players inventory.
Am I do something wrong ? or do I not understand how this works?

In order to use something in homebrew, you must be the one who owns it. You cant use content that is shared to you.
awesome so there is no real point for anyone but the DM to the one buying the content.
Whoever owns the content can homebrew an item and it will be shared within a campaign automatically
