When I have any link to a description of darkvision in my Homebrew item, the Homebrew item is unable to be shared.

I have tried adding links using both the format 

https://www.dndbeyond.com/compendium/rules/basic-rules/monsters#Darkvision

and

/compendium/rules/basic-rules/monsters#Darkvision

but neither works.

Is it possible to add internal links to D&D Beyond content in Homebrew items?

Not being able to view without the proper permissions is fine; I'm just trying to say, "You gain darkvision out to a range of 60 feet."

I ask because they are *internal* links, and are not specifically excluded by the "No external links" rule for Homebrew Items.

You should not be using links, but instead the format you used in this post: darkvision. ([sense**]darkvision[/sense**])

I'm interested in linking two homebrew characters that are interdependent. Both have been shared successfully.

In the character sheet of one, I want a link that say, "This monster never appears without the OTHER MONSTER". < Clicking on this should take me to the internally posted monster.

I can do it with a hyperlink, but then it violates rules (it thinks it is an external link). Any ideas?
