Is anyone else having issues with error codes popping up and characters not loading? It started last night for me just after the Game. I dont know if I should report it or not.
Are you using a VPN (specifically, NordVPN)? Nope, I don't even know what that is.
Is this occurring with all of the characters you own, or just some? One keeps getting the beholder, but all of them have loading issues like boxes not filling or expertise dots missing. etc
Is this happening with other user's characters that you view with a sharing link? I have no idea, i haven't viewed any shared characters.
Are you using any browser add-ons or extensions that could impact D&D Beyond's services, just as a script blocker? Nope, nothing like that, and nothing new. Same setting and laptop I've used for DDB for months.
Does this occur on both your wi-fi connection, and when using cellular data? I only have Wi-Fi. I live way out on the sticks.
I was still creating the character that was getting the beholder every time I click on starting equipment. When I load him as a sheet, it loads some of the time, but not always, same as the other characters I open, but even from the character sheet, clicking starting equipment brings an error.
Are you using a homebrew background? If a homebrew backgrounds equipment isn’t set up correctly it can cause errors when clicking on equipment. (And setting up the equipment properly is not at all intuitive)
I was able to reproduce the issue on that sheet you linked, however when I disabled Homebrew for the character sheet the issue stopped. There may be some piece of homebrew in your collection that is causing an issue here.
Are there any new pieces of homebrew that you created, or added to your collection around the time this began to occur -- not necessarily that were added to this character.
I did add some additional homebrew backgrounds created by others, including the one I had enabled on that character.
In the future, I'll try disabling or changing homebrew additions I find on the site. Maybe I'll just create my own versions instead of adding someone else's.
Thank you!

Hello there Koix, I'm sorry to hear you're facing errors loading your characters.
Here are some questions that might help us sort out a cause:

Could you please provide a link to the character that is getting the beholder error?
Were these issues all occurring in the same place, or are you playing from separate locations?
I was still creating the character that was getting the beholder every time I click on starting equipment. When I load him as a sheet, it loads some of the time, but not always, same as the other characters I open, but even from the character sheet, clicking starting equipment brings an error.

All errors are happening in the same physical location I always access DDB (at home). No other websites are giving me any errors or lag.

That seemed to dispell the Beholders. I was using a homebrew I found in the homebew section. I'll leave the creator some feed back.
Everything seems to be loading now. For that character and others. Could that have really effected other characters that I loaded?
