I'm seeing this error message every time I try to create a new character or edit a current character. It only happens on a particular computer, other ones I access the site on work just fine. I just had this happen to me a few minutes ago, here is the error string it gave me.

I know "it works" on another computer, but I'd like to resolve this issue so that I can use this on the computer giving the error as well.
I think this is caused by the characters in your name. You can get a name change by contacting support or waiting for a mod to find this report (shouldn't take long).

Hey there! If possible, can you clear your cache and cookies or try with another browser?
Clearing cache and cookies did not help. And I'm not able to use another browser on that particular computer. It is in Firefox though, if knowing that helps at all.

It's Windows 10. Unfortunately the other browser won't be possible, as there are certain security settings on the PC preventing me from freely browsing websites on any browser other than the Firefox one.
So, I do know when the error message first triggered on this computer, because it was working just fine for a period, though not sure if this helps at all. I was in the middle of editing a character while also editing a homebrew race. I had the character assigned to this homebrew race, I went in and deleted the homebrew race, then as soon as I tried to edit the character again to remove said homebrew race it gave me the "rolled a 1" error. I have since deleted that character altogether, but any time I try to create a new character or edit a character specifically on this PC, it gives me the error. Again, this does all work perfectly fine from another computer.

Is that really the case? As I said, I'm able to open my characters perfectly fine on another computer.
I'm not sure. You may also have 2 different accounts with the same name (it happens).

No.
Hey there! I'll pass this along to the team to see what might be going on.
In the meantime, can you also try in a different browser on the same PC? Also, what operating system are you running?
