Hi. Can't add my pact weapon to my inventory (glaive) because i am not profiency with it but i am suppose to be when i use the weapon invocation from the pact of the blade.
You should be able to add any item to your inventory even if you are not proficient, have you unchecked the "proficient" check box in the search section?
Though, it's worth noting that you also need to customize the weapon in the attack section to manually add proficiency.
Yeah, this happens with the Hex Warrior feature from the Hexblade subclass, and I suppose for the Kensei Monk subclass as well. We let the devs know in another couple of threads, hopefully the option will be made available with the upcoming character creation overhaul (hopefully very soon :) ).

Sorry if I seem slow, but how do I edit it to include my proficiency? I'm in the edit screen and there are a ton of options. Any idea what modifier type and modifier subtype I should use to add my proficiency to it? I'm level 5, so I believe I have a +3 to my proficiency. Thanks!
Chooky, if you are adding a weapon from the equipment section then you need to be in character sheet mode rather than the builder. In the top right you have the "Attacks" section, if you have set the weapon to be wielded it should automatically appear there with the attack and damage line calculated. Click the green + to expand and you should see a line reading CUSTOMIZE with another green +. Click that. There is no check box to mark proficiency but you can manually enter your proficiency bonus in the "To Hit Bonus" box.
If you are homebrewing a magic item then you need modifier type: Proficiency and modifier subtype: Self I believe. To make this work you need to use the Elven Chain as a template since modifier subtype: Self still hasn't been made publicly accessible but is available via Elven Chain.

Thanks! Both of those answered my question!
This has now been fixed :) If you click on the weapon in the "actions" section, you can designate as either your pact weapon or your Hex weapon
