I own ToA, which is where the Almiraj stat block is from, but I can't use it as a base for a homebrew creature (I was trying to create a specific Almiraj with a few differences from the base creature). Not sure why this would be a limitation, so I assume it's a bug? I ended up just manually re-entering all the info.
Hi Feldoth - as long as you are the owner of the sourcebook (TOA in this case), it should work, if you have access to TOA via content sharing campaign, then you wont be able to access this feature.
If you also had just recently purchased TOA, your cache may not have updated yet and be a reason why you weren't seeing it. If you still aren't seeing it (or other TOA content to use as a base for homebrew), I'd recommend putting in a support ticket

Nope, I've owned ToA directly since it came out. That said, today it is working so perhaps it was something temporary.
