So i purchased the players handbook so i could get a read on what might be different from this and 5th edition, once i purchased it i have found no location where i can read the rule book. The only thing i can read that gives me rules is if i go into the basic rules but those are useless as they dont seem to cover every aspect like the full classes instead of just 1 archetype per class. Can anybody help me figure out where this content has gone off to?

Hover your mouse pointer over COMPENDIUM and then click on RULES and you should see it on that page.
If that should take you to the store page again, it is likely that your browser has the link to your content cached, which can be fixed fairly easily, by clearing your browser's cache.
If this is not something that you are familiar with, you can find useful guides here on how to do this for most current browsers.
