I discovered this with the Clockwork soul sorcerer where the class was granted additional spells known from the sorcerer spell list. The problem is these additional spells are treated as if they take from the max number of spells known at once; thereby meaning the character knows no more spells than any other sorcerer.
The text for Clockwork souls sorcerers is as follows
Clockwork Magic
1st-level Clockwork Soul feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Clockwork Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
I didn't realize this was an issue until i used that additional spell list as a starter template to help implement my own custom subclass. It's possible there is a fix for this but I have been unable to find any.
As such,
1. Any suggestion on how to fix this because changing out spells is a bit maddening at this point. I have used custom feats to obtain my full spell list
I cannot replicate this. Works perfect for me each time. Do you have the link to your affected character sheet (if OK please remove your homebrew feats and stuff first as they'll just obscure the issue)?

Upon further investigation I found the area described in section 14 and set it to not count as spells known. It may just be that it is taking awhile to apply but insofar it still is counting all those spells as if they were part using up my spells known list.
Here is my character sheet. I will note that while the base started as a clockwork soul sorcerer the actual subclass is of me and my partner's design. It will be released more widely later
Ok! So I went and changed the subclass to another one and then immediately changed it back. With that, the issue has finally been fixed. Thanks so much!

Hello there,
Upon further investigation I found the area described in section 14 and set it to not count as spells known. It may just be that it is taking awhile to apply but insofar it still is counting all those spells as if they were part using up my spells known list.

I am going to look through everything again. See if there is anything else that is also communicating the thing I corrected. Hopefully I can find it.
Ok! So I went and changed the subclass to another one and then immediately changed it back. With that, the issue has finally been fixed. Thanks so much!
