Re-save the whole magic item again, that is what triggers changes to get picked up by the system. Then just be patient, sometimes it can take I little while for the system to push those changes through to the character sheet. If that doesn’t seem to work try updating the version number and re-saving the whole Item again.

It worked after I saved it and looked again after letting it sit overnight. Good work-around.
But I think it's still a bug that it doesn't work when you set it in the Basic Properties menu.

Technically its not a bug and I didn’t give you a workaround. The tool you were trying to use does something different that we as homebrewers cannot currently do (make non-magical items) so that field is disabled for us. We use the same system the developers use, we just don’t have admin privileges (like that for example) so the field is still visible, it just doesn’t do anything as far as we have access to. The way I described is the actual way to turn that non-magic item into a magic item that does what you want.
Homebrew: Magic Medium Armor ignores modified Dex Bonus properties.
1. Create a medium armor (Breastplate) magic armor in Homebrew.
2. Assign a Dex Bonus property of [Full Modifier].
3. Add the item to a character's inventory and equip it.
4. The AC Calculation ignores the [Full Modifier] property and still restricts Dexterity Bonus to +2.
I presume that this defect may apply to different classes and types of armors.
Try adding the following modifier:
