The digital dice connected to my characters won't roll properly. The dice will freeze mid-roll, disappear, or take minutes to give a repetitive, buggy result. This isn't an issue when rolling digital dice for my Encounters, though. But for a week now, every character suffers this issues, even after turning dice on & off.
I could be wrong, but i think that is due to the privacy implementations in Safari versus Chrome. Every open tab in Safari is a separate session to enhance privacy, but at a speed sacrifice. Every tab in Chrome is essentially a subunit of a single stream, which can make things faster but at a privacy sacrifice. That’s probably why I have at least 3 browsers on every device I own. LOL
I wish that were the case, but I think it's some other issue. I'll have one tab open in Safari, just for D&D Beyond, and the digital dice freeze mid-roll. In fact, I just tried it before replying and its still buggy. I guess it's not a wide-spread issue, since I haven't noticed any fixes yet.
Does Safari give you an option to turn on hardware acceleration? On Chrome it is important to turn it on for the dice to work. For all that I use a Mac, I don't use Safari as a web browser enough to know if Safari offers that option.
Yeah, I'm learning that Chrome is the safer option. But I still don't know if the problem is Safari or DDB. The thing that strikes me as weird and more related to DDB is that the digital dice will roll the same value a statistically improbable number of times. All 6s on a random sneak attack roll is great, but... not very likely in reality.

Using Safari. But because you asked, I just experimented with Chrome. And wouldn't you know it: the digital dice work fine on Chrome.
I have had browsers do the same thing before. i think there is a fix for it but you would have to dig for it. Glad chrome works for you though!

This is probably the closest thing to so-called "hardware acceleration" on the MacOS: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202043
