So I am getting the 403 error (dragon blocks path, dont have permission to do this, etc.) literally 9/10 times I try to edit anything on my character sheet.
I've tried Chrome & IE, where IE dndbeyond doesnt even load up the sheet, but chrome seems to do fine. I have no problems with any other part of the site, any links, any resources etc.
It is literally just when I am trying to make a change as simple as the character name, clicking the inspiration toggle, or whatever. It throws me immediately over to the 403 page.
Now what is super weird about it, is that it works 100% perfectly for about 10-15minutes here and there randomly. Then all of a sudden its back to 9/10 times to a 403 error.
Haven't had this issue at all on my home computer, where I use Brave browser. I am wondering if it might be my work computer/internet that is having an impact? I've done a full reinstall, update, history/cache/cookie/data flush of Chrome. I've tried logging out and back in, including the Google account I am using. Literally every solution I have found mentioned elsewhere in these forums for similar issues.
Is there no other option but to just suck it up and try to mass edit when that window opens?
Hello xNocturnalshadowx, thank you for your report.
You mention that this is while using a work computer. Is it possible that work computer has stricter firewall settings, or VPN settings than your home computer?
Entirely likely that the internal network has stricter security settings.
The strange part however is that would imply a *constant* issue with connecting and editing my sheet. For whatever reason this is an intermittent problem, that randomly disappears as I said for significant gaps of time. If it was a firewall or VPN issue, one would assume that would be a constant problem - not one that comes and goes randomly.
Hi, although i have a master subscription i can't seem to create new characters right now. It gives the 403 error. I have tried deleting my cookies and relogging a few times. Are there any issues serverside ?
This message keeps popping up even though I have a subscription that let's me make unlimited characters. Tried deleting a few but still cannot make a new one.
This has been happening all week for me as well. I have to manually add every dang character of mine or they’ll be deactivated. This is on my laptop, on my iPhone, on my iPad and on my gfs Samsung as well. Nothing seems to make it work. My sub is good until 4/8/2022 and I’ve barely been able to use my account for a week.

At least one of the causes of 403 errors has been fixed per other threads. If you are still having difficulty, please submit a support ticket with as many details as possible. It may take a while (days) for support to get back to you, as they were already inundated with (necessary) support requests related to subscription management before the massive 403 errors started appearing. Please don't submit multiple support requests, a that only 2) slows everything down more and 3)resets your place in the queue.
When you submit your request, you might mention whether or not you have a subscription, a I have a sneaking suspicion that these errors were caused by an attempt to fix the subscription management issue.

My geekfactor goes up with my grey hairs.
I'm having this same problem is there anything I can do
I am also not able to get into the Character Creator.
Same. Very frustrating.
I'm with the same problem! On PC and Android didn't work!
I've got a membership to create unlimited characters. When I select "Create New," I get the page for the 403 error. Halp.
Many people currently seem to have the same problem. It's probably on their end and not on ours.

heya! i have a similar problem, but only when trying to make a new character. error 403. (i use opera GX btw)
There appears to be a widespread issue. I can create characters, but there are lots of similar reports.
