Just purchased Dark Elf Subrace on Marketplace, but it doesn't appear in Character Builder

Do I need to do something to activate the purchase so I can use it? The transaction does appear in my account details.

-make sure you are looking under elf in the races

-try logging out and logging back in

-clear your browsers cache

Sometimes it just takes a while to show up. The steps ArwensDaughter mentioned usually helps speed it up.

 Players Handbook (aka PHB): you can purchase the entire PHB or just the drow/dark elf subrace

I do have a physical copy of the PHB. I gotta buy it on here? 

Of course you have to buy it here. But you don't have to buy the whole book here - you can piecemeal buy what you want from the book.

Or you can homebrew it for free using the homebrew tools
