hi there. Just a quick question I hope someone can help me with. I am posting on my phone and noticed there is no formatting toolbar when making a post. Are there any formatting tags that can be used in the plain text to do things like change font colour. Insert links. Change font weight, size etc? I had a little scan through the sections but can't find anything. Can anyone help?

Above are most of the different formatting options available. I'm just experimenting to find a way to do this on a mobile device because plain text seems to be the only available option which severely limits players who are wanting to participate in PBP games on this forum if the game has formatting rules.

Hi thanks. I tried that, it does work but it's a lot more difficult to use on an iPhone 5s, just a bit too clunky.i was hoping there would be some markup stuff that would work.

To exacerbate the issue, the DDB update seems to have removed the ability to go into Desktop mode from a mobile device. This has really cramped my style (get it, font styles?) in PbP forums.
What I don't understand is seemingly everybody else in my PbP group has the toolbar to format text, roll dice, embed pictures etc on mobile but I don't haha. Kind of driving me insane
sorry for bumping an old thread, just hoping for a fix
On a mobile device, most browsers have the option of "request desktop site" built into the browser.
If you would like access to the formatting tools (noting that they are fiddly/awkward in mobile view, which is why they don't display as default) then activate desktop mode through your browser and it should work - I just checked and works on my mobile device (android, using chrome browser).

I believe *standard* **markup**_modifiers_ ^work
Guess not. Must've been somewhere else I was using those recently.

You can enable the formatting controls by switching to desktop view, on the menu.

No, there are no "markup commands" or other formatting controls, other than the ones available in standard (non-mobile) view.
If you're on mobile and using mobile view, you're restricted to plain text.

Are there any plans to add any of the text formatting options to the mobile forums?
