It is a known bug that an artificer cannot transfer an infused weapon to another PC within D&D Beyond (DDB). The general protocol for transferring items in DDB is for the giver to delete the item and the recipient to add the item, but this doesn't work with artificer infusions, because currently, only artificers can add infused weapons to their inventories.
However, I discovered a workaround in which the recipient temporarily multiclasses Artificer 2, gives themself the infused item, then deletes their Artificer 2. The infused item will still be in their inventory.
Prerequisite: Access to Tasha's Cauldron of Everything
Steps for Recipient:
Go to character builder.
Home tab: If you have less than 13 INT, turn off "Multiclass Requirements."
Class tab: If you have 19 or 20 non-artificer levels, note the options you picked for your most recent 1 or 2 levels, then delete them.
Class tab: At the bottom, "+ Add Another Class", Artificer. Set the level to 2 and choose the infusion(s) you are receiving.
Go to character sheet.
Inventory: Infusions: Give yourself the infused item(s) you are receiving.
Go to character builder.
Class tab: Delete your 2 artificer levels and add back any levels you deleted in step 3.
Home tab: Turn back on "Multiclass Requirements" if you turned them off in step 2.
Go to character sheet. Your infused items are still there! If the artificer ends their infusion, you can click "Remove Infusion" on them.
Steps for Giver: All you have to do it delete the infused item you're giving. If you infuse more items later, be sure to keep track of your infusion limit and let the recipient know if their infusion ends.
Hopefully they add a general way to transfer items between PCs, but until then, hope this workaround helps!
You can also add custom items to your inventory with descriptions or add notes and modifiers to existing items.
For any weapon/sheild/armor enhancements my group adds the +1/+2 to hit modifier to their item or AC bonus section and changes the name and description to "Infused Shortbow +1" or "Infused by Edric"
You can also add custom actions, bonus actions and reactions so you don't forget you have them.
For my Artificer, I just put infusions lended out or applied to others' equipment into a "Lent Items" container, and then have the other character add a homebrew or regular magic item with the infusion's effect, with a Note added (infused by <my character>).
I agree it would be nice to share items around the party, that is possibly in the works for a "campaign container" or such.

That's what I did today for my game when I realized I couldn't transfer over items. We renamed the item-infused weapon +1 and in the notes added it is Attunted. I also added it on my sheet so if case the other player forgets I have a record. Since I only have 3 allowed, I picked them to aid each of my players so they can keep it for now (we are in a flashback in which they understand they won't have it once the FB is over

No need to multiclass
