Artillerist a bit too strong?

eldritch cannon can do 3d8 as a BA at level 9 and 6d8 at level 15. arcane firearm is rediculas for a level 5 feature. the only other subclass that might compete is armorer, and only because of the artificer infusions on the arcane armor. please help explain and clarify if I'm reading it wrong because this is too powerful.

Yes, it can. The point of the subclass is to do a lot of damage; the fact that it has an ability that deals a lot of damage seems appropriate.

No it isn't. Why do you think it is?

yeah, It's about the same rate of extra attack, but I do have a question about it, does it stack with sorcereus burst and chromatic orb if you multiclass?

No, because it only applies to Artificer spells, and those are not Artificer spells.
