What are some plain cool moments you've had with your bard? They can be stuff in combat, social situations, stealthy bits, anything. Also can include cool stuff you plan to do.
One cool moment I had was when our party was fighting a deadly construct we were really under levelled for. Apparently the DM had some magic items hidden away nearby but we stupidly bypassed them. The creature was resistant to near all damage types, and had an AC of 20. Mind you, we were all level 4. Thankfully, with my Bardic Inspiration I helped our fighter and paladin land some good hits, and enabled another party member to, with a saving throw, just inch out to survive a vital saving throw. With my last two Bardic Inspiration dice, I used Psychic Blades (college of whispers) and we discovered with that the creature was not resistant to psychic damage. And on top of that, one of my hits was a critical hit, so I ended up doing about 20 points psychic damage with just one psychic blades attack.
For a future moment I got planned, thanks to the illusory magic my girl Elise is learning, and the one level in rogue she'll take, she's turning out to be a GREAT spy/infiltrator for certain places my party will likely be heading to.
What are some cool stuff y'all have done, or will do, with your bard?
I am playing a noble paladin named Augustus. The Bard in the party will approach the NPCs at such times as when we arrive at the town gates and introduce himself and get the name of the individual he is speaking to. Then he will introduce the NPC to my character. This emphasizes the status of my noble character in the encounter, which I think is great for flavor. Then he will introduce our party as the Party of Augustus Zyltar, second son of the Viscount of Aramay.
If we have a situation where it would be inappropriate to introduce the noble Augustus this way, such as when we are meeting the local ruler in a noble station, he will instead introduce himself and then say, "We are the company of Augustus Zyltar, second son of the Viscount of Aramay. And who does the young lord have the pleasure of addressing?" Which is again a great way to play the character. He is my traveling herald in addition to being himself as a Bard.

The moment my half-orc glamour bard electrocuted a sea monster with thunder wave and a rapier.
Ill elaborate: The party was traveling on a boat with the tiefling captain, and his first mate, some crazy old man. The boat was almost knocked over, because of a sea monster on the horizon. The boat was so damaged that we had no choice but to fight it to move on, and after a couple rounds my character proceeded to climb onto an ice floe (we were in icy waters, very cold area), stick her sword into the water (made of silver, good conductor of electricity), and cast thunder wave, dealing the last bit of damage that chased the monster away.

Glamour Bard doing what they do best...beguiling an entire tavern. ; )
They then used their command feature to make a humble suggestion to their audience (who auto-failed their check):
”Donate”.
Made a decent chunk of coin that night.
That time when our group of level 5-7's was fighting a Death Knight, with some NPC hirelings to help of course, and half way through the fight discovered that it had formerly been a goodly paladin that was laboring under a curse so we managed to weaken it just enough to stop it for a time and my Bard, with some Guidance and an Enhance Ability, rolled a 32 on his Persuasion roll to remind the paladin of who he had been in life, redeeming him back to the service of Lathander.
Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
