I'm trying to decide between War, Trickery, Life and Grave domains. Leaning towards Trickery. Any comments\suggestiin?
War would give me a couple of things I want, but Trickery could be fun with 1 level as Fighter
Grave or Life would make sense for what amounts to the ship's doctor.
Tempest Domain is thematically very appropriate for a nautical adventure.

DM implied that we might be on the sea that much. Otherwise I would agree.
I played a tempest cleric in a campaign that was almost entirely land based, and it worked great.
But the question is, what do you want to be able to do?
