Simple question, but one that just came to mind. Can you cast the spell holy weapon on your manifested spiritual weapon? I personally don't see a reason why you can't, just never thought to make it combo. Would this be something that's allowed?
The floating, spectral weapon that Spiritual Weapon creates isn't a weapon in the rules sense - it's not an object you can grab and take the Attack action with or use for opportunity attacks. Holy Weapon is meant to be used on weapons you wield.
You can't use it as a weapon, but maybe for flavor in a fight...well performance exists and you control it. Can pretend to wield it if you don't usually have a weapon in hand so that even clerics in heavy armor with low strength can move with it. If you fool them, you look pretty bad ass to the enemy, and other players might be fooled. Chalk it up that your deity manifested a weapon to use.
I tried a picture, but still having problems with this, got the link to work and well it feels better than messing with trying to insert the image this is linked to!
My character is a cleric whose deity is a celestial archon in service to Sehanine Moonbow and given some of the uses for Spiritual Weapon it got me thinking what if my character casting this spell summons a literal Moon Knight as her Spiritual Weapon?

the real question is can you holy weapon a spear and the next turn throw it and then blow it up on either a hit or a miss.Answered my own question after using that thing called google. Jeremy Crawford says yes!
Although the question on a miss i guess depends on where your DM says it went.
Exactly how far can you go with Spiritual Weapons?
For example...

Would that work or depend on the DM in any case?
Just thought I'd ask!
It could look like whatever you want, but it's only visual, it won't change any of the mechanics of movement, attack, damage, etc.
Birgit | Shifter | Sorcerer | Dragonlords
Shayone | Hobgoblin | Sorcerer | Netherdeep
Ending up going with a variant of the Moon Glaive.
Struck pretty darn well thanks to the Bless spell cast first, but very little damage!
Thanks for the advice I wish I stuck to my guns now but oh well.
Much obliged.
