So as a tempest Cleric you have access to these wonderful mechanics, but a question keeps rising in my head. Is it possible to interrupt the damage from the attack that hit you?
Goblin hits Fordin, tempest Cleric. Fordin uses Wrath of the storm and then pushes the Goblin away. Does the damage of the hit still resolve or is it kind of deflected? I might see this happen because I play magic as well and you have room to intervene there...
If not, for sure it would interrupt a multi attack, right? If the attacker does not have enough feet left to get back to me his remaining attacks would be forfeit or at least not aimed at me;..

Pushing the enemy away with Thunderbolt Strike doesn't change the fact that you were hit. You're still going to take damage as normal. Reactions happen after their trigger unless a specific reaction tells you otherwise.

Sure, if you're lucky enough that your attacker has no more movement left and also doesn't have any ranged attacks.
