I have recently created a character in a campaign as my previous character had died.
I am now playing a Dragonborn Druid and have taken the Circle of the Land route. I just wondered whether it would be worth multiclassing. I am currently level 5 and will be levelling up soon.
What do you guys think? Is it worth multiclassing a Druid and if so, which class?
Usually not worth it unless you have some specific build in mind.
Though a one level dip in Cleric might be nice. It gives you several cantrip, free up some spell selection (I'm looking at you healing word). Also some cleric domain has a pretty bonker level 1 ability (like order cleric and peace cleric)
Level 6 circle of the land isn't up to much. Level 7 druid allows you to polymorph an ally into a giant ape.
A retconned dip into fighter or barbarian might be worth it if the DM permits this to let you access the related saving throw proficiencies, though this isn't RAW.
Life cleric gives buffs, especially for goodberry. Twilight cleric gives healing buffs and darkvision.
Druid's biggest weakness is the low AC, and you can't fight this with multiclass since you are restricted to not use metal armor (so the proficiency of the new class don't matter) and you, likely, won't have acess to shield spell since meeting the INT/CAR requirement for the classes that have acess to it's hard.
I would like to add that Druid Spell List is great, and multiclassing imply on setting it on Hold. So, even knowing that L.Druid lvl 6 and 10 traits are kind of bad, I still can't see anything that you can get that worth slowing down your spell progression.

Thanks Cleru. I’ll have a look at dipping into cleric. See if it complements my character build
Thanks Gergkyae
IMO, no.
