Help me out here folks, I'm about to start in a CoS campaign and may be the primary healer. I'm wondering how well a Dream Druid can carry out this function? I've played a Land Druid in the past and done some back up healing and really enjoyed it, but wondering if Dream would be a solid choice for my intended goal.
I think it is a good and versatile healer. Balm of the Summer Court allows healing without consuming spell slots, is a bonus action, and can be used while in Wild Shape.
Theyre great in combat healers, since you can cast Cure Wounds and Balm of the Summer Court in the same round. If anything see if you can dip a level or two into Life Domain cleric for the Disciple of Life healing bonus, and always having Cure wound prepared without having it taking up one of your prepared spell slots.
Thank you, all. That's what I was looking for, I mean, it reads like it would be good at it, but guides/write-ups on the new sub-classes (at least Druids) are a little hard to find at the moment. Thanks again!

Plus you get access to Healing Spirit, which - even if you don't go out of your way to break it - is a great healing spell, especially out of combat.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
